What a journey it's been so far. As with any new venture, there are bound to be some ups and downs, and Southern Sky Studio has seen a bit of both of them.

Admittedly, there was a bit of oversight on my end as I overlooked some issues dealing with flying drones commercially. However, the FAA has recently changed some of the rules dealing with flying drones commercially. For now, I'm grounded by the FAA until I can obtain a remote pilot certificate which should be around the end of August when the test comes out and the paperwork goes through. All aerial services have been put on hold, but I'll be back to flying in a few weeks.

Until then, there has been more than enough work to keep me busy with Logos, Websites, and photography. It feels good to be diving back into the creative world, but with it comes a strict learning curve. I'm tackling new things that I've never done before and trying to improve in areas where I've already dabbled.

I'm considering this my portfolio-building season, so if there is some way that we can work together to create something awesome, don't hesitate to let me know. In exchange for allowing me to flex my creative muscle and get some cobwebs out, you get a reduced rate for professional work.

Thanks for all the support and encouragement so far!
